There are 4 temperature settings (high, low, simmer, and keep warm), and the cooker automatically switches to the the "keep warm" setting when the cooking cycle is complete. It's easy to make classic comfort foods or try out new gourmet creations - all in a convenient-sized ceramic cooking pot that fits comfortably on any countertop; the cooking pot has an oval design for increased cooking surface area.
